It is recommended that you always launch your Laser Cutter jobs from the dedicated computer nearby, as the driver installation process has proven to be cumbersome.

But if you have a need, and have a Windows computer and want to install the driver on your own computer, feel free. Just make sure to plug the USB cable back into the same port on the computer that everyone else will be using to launch Laser Cut jobs.

To install the driver:

• Read through the Epilog Fusion M2 driver page.
• Power off the Laser Cutter.
• Disconnect the USB cable.
• Download the driver for a Windows computer. (the separate files option, and this video have proven useful even though it’s for ethernet connections)
• Refer to these instructions to complete the installation procedure.
• Make a test cut.
