The Makerspace is a community that brings together people and ideas with tools and support in a space that enable possibilities. We are ready to provide you with the training, and tools you need to turn ideas into reality.

Hours

Makerspace hours for Spring semester

  • Sunday from 10AM to 10:00 PM
  • Monday from 9:00AM to 11:00AM & 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Tuesday from 9:00AM to 12:00PM & 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday from 9:00AM to 11:00AM & 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Thursday from 9:00AM to 11:00AM & 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Friday from 9:00AM to 12:00PM & 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM

The Makerspace will play a part in handling courses while Johnson is renovated.

Directions

The Makerspace is located in the Freeman International Center. It’s a bit tricky to find. Enter using the door on the upper floor (indicated by the pointing hand on the image below), step inside and immediately turn right down the stairs. The Makerspace will be at the bottom of those stairs.

Community

It can be intimidating to get started. We offer training, workshops, and friendly guides to help you find your way.

Training

We offer hands on training experience in a supportive supervised environment. Upcoming training and workshop opportunities will be listed here.

Tools

When you’re feeling comfortable, we have a variety of tools and materials you can explore. Sewing machines, 3D printers, CNC machines, heat presses and more are on hand.
