Decipher the Calendars
There is lots of information on the Makerspace Calendar. When you click on a day to see the listings, look for these keywords to decipher what’s going on and how it might apply to you:
- Open Hours
- These blocks are when there is a paid student Teaching Assistant (TA) working in the Makerspace (Johnson 102) to help you get settled, sign the pledge and get started on the mandatory safety training required to gain access to each piece of equipment. Please locate the TA, introduce yourself and ask about the rules of getting started in the Makerspace upon arrival.
- Intro to Industrial Design/Design Lab
- This is an intro-level class that any Middlebury student can take. (INTD 216 or INTD 377)
- The shops are only accessible for students in Intro to Industrial Design / DesignLab during these Blocks.
